BalletX Unveils Fall Series 2026 With Three Works Nov. 4-15

BalletX, Philadelphia ‘s premier contemporary ballet, has unveiled its Fall Series 2026 at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre in Philadelphia , running Nov. 4–15. These immersive performances have been designed to transport audiences into three distinct worlds.

According to a PhillyVoice report , the production features bold costume and set design by Emma Kingsbury and an original score by Frank Moon, who has ties to the Royal Ballet and various film and TV projects.

The program showcases three world-premiere or notable works: Speakeasy by Loughlan Prior, Switching the Groove re-mounted by Amy Hall Garner, and In the Wake by Christian Denice, each blending contemporary ballet with various styles and themes.

Speakeasy , described as a glamorous Prohibition-era Philadelphia-inspired journey, follows Prior’s 2024 hit Macaroni , which The Philadelphia Inquirer praised as entertaining and cinematic.

Switching the Groove presents a high-energy fusion of ballet and contemporary movement, created by Garner to uplift audiences.

In the Wake , Denice’s 2025 BalletX debut, explores healing, memory, and human connection, set to an original score by Philip Daniel.

Special audience opportunities include group sales discounts and a Young Patrons Circle (YPC) Night experience on Nov. 13. Tickets are $30 for YPC members and $56 for non-members, plus an after-party with company dancers at the famed Philly speakeasy, Midnight & The Wicked.
