Vehicle fire causes eastbound lane closure on Okanagan Connector

An early morning vehicle fire is impacting drivers travelling eastbound on the Okanagan Connector on Thursday morning.

While there’s little details of the vehicle fire at this time, it occurred around 1 a.m. on Oct. 15.

As a result, the right lane eastbound of the Okanagan Connector is closed from Brenda Mines Road to MacDonald Creek. Additionally, the left lane has been reduced to a 50 km/h zone.
