Black Girls Rock! Plans “BGR! LIVE” Arena Tour For 2027

Black Girls Rock! and Black Promoters Collective announced a multiyear partnership on October 14 to launch “BGR! LIVE,” a concert platform with a U.S. arena tour planned for early 2027.
The partners said the platform would also encompass concerts and festivals.
Black Girls Rock! has used its awards to honor Black women across music, art and public life. The partners said the tour would reach select U.S. cities, though they did not name the cities, artists, venues or ticket dates.
“I’m thrilled to launch BGR! LIVE with Black Promoters Collective, an exceptional team of industry leaders with a proven track record of delivering world-class tours,” Black Girls Rock! founder Beverly Bond said in the announcement. “Our partnership combines that expertise with the audience connection and cultural identity that make BLACK GIRLS ROCK! distinctive. Together, we’re opening a new era for the brand, bringing our creative vision and cultural impact to the grandest stages through extraordinary experiences that celebrate Black music, artistry, and community.”
Bond founded Black Girls Rock! in 2006. What began as a way to spotlight Black women’s achievements grew into awards, arts education and mentorship.
In a 2010 Black Enterprise interview , Bond recalled that a T-shirt listing women she admired became the seed for a mentoring program. She also described DJ lessons as a way for girls to build discipline and creative skills.
The awards reached BET in 2010, taking Bond’s work to a national TV audience.
Black Promoters Collective brings experience with large R&B and Hip-Hop tours. In a June Pollstar interview , CEO Gary Guidry said the company had passed $100 million in top-line revenue in 2025.
He described concert formats that put major acts in a shared show rather than a standard opener-and-headliner setup.
“Our investment in BGR! LIVE reflects our conviction that BLACK GIRLS ROCK! can command a major place in national touring,” Guidry said in the new announcement. “Beverly Bond has built an institution with enduring cultural authority that has helped define how Black women are celebrated. We are committed to building a lasting business together and delivering live experiences that set a high standard for the industry.”
