Jason D. Vess
Jason D. Vess, 48 of Glouster passed away Tuesday October 13, 2026. He was born November 21, 1977, in Athens. Jason loved spending time outdoors, especially hunting for mushrooms and fishing for catfish.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Faith Hanning and their son, Leighton; a son, Eli Riley; his parents, Carolyn and Tom Hooper of Glouster; a brother, Michael Vess Jr. (Amber Gabriel); a sister, Mandy (Nathan) Ammons; nephews and niece, Dakota, Tommy and Hoyt Ammons Mason, Allie Hooper; a close friend, Callis Moore; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Melody Hooper; a brother, Donald Hooper; and his father, Mike Vess Sr.
Jason was loved very much and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
A cremation has taken place and there will be a celebration of life held at a later date.
