Something Wicked This Way Comes – EVIL DEAD

Something Wicked This Way Comes – EVIL DEAD: The Musical Returns to The KordaZone Theatre!

EVIL DEAD: THE MUSICAL takes all the elements of the cult classic films, The Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2, and Army of Darkness and combines them for one of the craziest, funniest, and bloodiest theatrical experiences of all time. The Music is by Frank Cipolla, Christopher Bond, Melissa Morris and George Reinblatt, and the show is based on characters created by Sam Raimi and created by special arrangement with Renaissance Pictures. Ltd. & Studio Canal Image, S.A.

The show runs October 16, 17, 22, 23, 24, 29 and 30 at 8:00 p.m.; October 18 at 2:00 p.m.; and special performances on Halloween Night, October 31 at 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. All performances are at The KordaZone Theatre, at 2520 Seminole Street. A Pay-What-You-Can Night performance is offered on October 22, and a Scent-Free Night on October 29. Tickets may be purchased at the door an hour before the show, or online . Tickets are $30 (General Admission), $25 (Student and Senior), and $50 for special Splatter Zone seating.

Five college students go to an abandoned cabin in the woods and accidentally unleash an evil force that turns them all into demons. It’s all up to Ash (a housewares employee, turned demon-killing hero), and his trusty chainsaw to save the day. Blood flies. Limbs are dismembered. Demons tell bad jokes… and it’s all set to music. Song titles like “All the Men in My Life Keep Getting Killed by Candarian Demons” and “What the F**k was That?” will have audiences rolling in their seats and screaming for more and more blood. This is a pure comedy start to finish, while having cheeky fun with the horror genre all along the way. It’s also the only show with a “Splatter Zone” section of the audience that gets covered in fake blood. EVIL DEAD: THE MUSICAL is unlike any LIVE show audiences have ever seen!

The cast features Gianluca Ieraci as Ash; Avery McMillan Thomas as Linda; Kory Pineau as Scott; Aubrey Zerbin as Shelley; Sydney White as Cheryl; Becca Silvius as Annie; Sean Humenny as Ed; Samuel Brimner as Jake; Larissa Dawn and Georgie Savoie as Deadites; and Matthew Vriesen as the voice of the Moose.
