Child among six dead following horror plane crash in the US
A child is among six people who have died after a small plane crashed into a dense woodland area of the US.
It is understood that the youngster was aboard the aircraft with five other adults, all of whom were found dead by emergency crews at the wreckage.
Investigators are probing the possible reasons a six-seater Piper aircraft mysteriously fell out of the sky on Tuesday evening near Mirror Lake State Park in Wisconsin.

It is understood the flight had taken off from Kenosha and was heading towards Menomonie when disaster struck. It also made contact with air traffic control before crashing.
While the impact was devastating, killing all six passengers, no other people or nearby properties were damaged.
It is understood that the area where the plane crashed was heavily wooded, presenting difficulties for emergency services attempting to race to the crash site.

Sauk County Sheriff’s Captain Matt Burch said: ‘Prior to the crash, the aircraft was reported to be in contact with a nearby air traffic control tower.
‘Investigators are working to learn what the content of those transmissions was and if a weather event in the area may have played any role in the crash.’
They later revealed: ‘As a result of the search, all six occupants of the aircraft were located deceased on scene.’

Police are also working to identify the victims of the crash and what their relationship to one another may be.
This comes after another air disaster was narrowly avoided yesterday on British Airways flight BA2660, which was en route to Faro from London Gatwick.
It is understood that the plane suddenly turned around shortly after takeoff following emergency reports that there was a crack in one of the windows.
Aircraft tracker AirNav Radar said that the plane declared an emergency and was about to divert. Airline tracking apps showed that the plane did a U-turn shortly after it had passed Bretagne in France.
‘The aircraft diverted following a minor technical issue and landed safely back at London Gatwick,’ a British Airways spokesperson told Extra.ie.
‘We have apologised to customers for the delay to their journey, and our teams are working hard to get their travel plans back on track.’
