Sithelo Shozi Speaks Out About Child Support

South African media personality Sithelo Shozi has sparked conversations online after commenting on a TikTok video about child support and sharing her thoughts on raising her children.

The discussion began when Sithelo, an influencer and judge on Masked SA , came across a video posted by a fellow mother who was speaking about her difficulties in receiving financial support for her children.

Sithelo joined the conversation with a short comment that caught the attention of social media users. “…6 years and counting,” she wrote.

Her remark prompted questions about what she was referring to, with the conversation continuing after the creator of the video apologised to her.

In response, Sithelo explained that she did not want anyone to feel sorry for her. She also shared how much she enjoys raising her daughters, describing motherhood as something deeply important to her.

Sithelo replied, “Oh no, please don’t feel sorry for me, taking care of my children is my ministry and I absolutely love raising my girls. It’s all I live for, fortunately for us we’re also blessed through grace, just highlighting that some people present something whereas they’re absolute deadbeats.”

Although she did not mention anyone by name in the comments provided, her remarks have attracted attention because of her past relationship with businessman Andile Mpisane, with whom she shares two daughters.

Sithelo is a mother of three. Her eldest son is from her relationship with businessman Makhosini Phillip Maseko, while her two daughters are with Mpisane.

The media personality is also expecting her first child with her husband, Kudzaishe James Magura. The couple are expecting a baby girl.

Sithelo’s comments have brought attention to the challenges some parents face when seeking financial support for their children. Her response also highlighted her love for motherhood and her belief that raising her daughters is an important part of her life.
