Bang, Bang! Iheanacho Fires 14 Goals In 10 Games For Bursaspor

Kelechi Iheanacho continued his sensational scoring form in Turkey on Thursday, netting twice and providing an assist as Bursaspor thrashed hosts Muglaspor 3-0 to climb to the top of the Turkish 1. Lig table.

The Super Eagles striker starred at Mugla Atatürk Stadium, setting up the opening goal before scoring twice in the second half to seal an emphatic Matchday 10 victory for the Green Crocodiles.

The brace takes Iheanacho’s tally to 14 goals and three assists in 10 appearances since joining Bursaspor as a free agent in the summer.

The 30-year-old has now scored in all 10 league matches he has played this season, extending an extraordinary scoring streak that has established him as the division’s leading scorer.

Iheanacho’s resurgence in Turkey comes after a difficult spell in Scotland with Celtic. His prolific form is also fuelling Bursaspor’s push for promotion, with the club now top of the table after rising from the Turkish fourth tier in recent years.

His consistent performances could also strengthen his case for a return to the Super Eagles ahead of the next international window.
