“La Patrona” was arrested in Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche
Federal security forces successfully apprehended Noemí “N”, alias “La Patrona,” during a targeted operation in Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche.
The suspect, who faced an active arrest warrant for criminal association, is identified by authorities as a key regional operator directing a violent criminal cell based in Jalpa de Méndez, Tabasco.
According to the federal Security Cabinet, the high-profile arrest was the result of coordinated intelligence work involving the National Defense Secretariat (Defensa), the Secretariat of Security and Civilian Protection (SSPC), the National Guard, the National Intelligence Center, and the Tabasco State Attorney General’s Office. Investigators pointed out that the suspect was a primary driver of violence in the Ciudad del Carmen area.
Federal reports indicate that Noemí “N” allegedly coordinated illicit activities across Tabasco and neighboring regions, including drug distribution, extortion, kidnappings, homicides, vehicle thefts, and the illegal possession of firearms. Her capture represents a significant blow to criminal networks operating within the southeast corridor of the country.
The detainee was promptly transferred and placed at the disposal of the competent judicial authorities to face formal charges, while security agencies continue targeted operations throughout the region to dismantle remaining elements of the criminal cell.
