Former NGE President, Mustapha Loses Father

Former President of the Nigeria Guild of Editors, Mustapha Isah has lost his father, the Clan Head (Ovbiotse) of Ivbiokhulotor in Ubuneke Ivbiaro, Owan East Local Government Area of Edo State,

His father, Chief Isah Umoru Osikhekha

passed away at the age of 96.

Chief Osikhekha was a devout Muslim, a community leader, a philanthropist and a fighter for justice.

He passed away peacefully in the presence of his children on Tuesday, October 14, 2026.

Chief Osikhekha is survived by his wives and children, grand children and great grandchildren amongst who is the immediate past President of the Nigerian Guild of Editors, Mustapha Isah.

He has since been buried according to Islamic rites.
