Colorado breweries/cideries win 41 medals at revamped Great American Beer Festival

The Great American Beer Festival, which took place Saturday and Sunday, had an all-new look and feel this year as it downsized and moved from its longtime home at the Colorado Convention Center to the outdoor Levitt Pavilion.
But Colorado’s award winners were very familiar, as many of them were repeat winners, including Cannonball Creek Brewing in Golden, which took home three medals and won brewery of the year honors (in its size category) for the second year in a row.
Other repeat winners from 2025 included River North Brewery, Second Dawn, The Empourium, Glenwood Canyon Brewing, Avery Brewing, Verboten Brewing, Liquid Mechanics, Wild Blue Yonder, Holidaily, Snow Capped Cider, Prost Brewing, The Sandlot Brewery at Coors Field, New Belgium Brewing and Haykin Family Cider.
“This year’s competition drew 7,267 entries from 1,300 breweries and cidermakers across the United States, evaluated by 225 judges across six days of judging in 105 beer-style categories,” the Colorado Brewers Guild said.
Here’s a list of all 41 Colorado medals.
