INTERSCHOLASTIC SPORTS CALLED OFF THIS WEEKEND

GDOE issued out the first notice Friday morning that all school activities will be halted with Typhoon Champi approaching this weekend.

Big events have been confirmed cancelled, including the high school girls volleyball championship game between the undefeated Academy Cougars and defending champion Harvest Eagles originally set for 7 pm at the UOG Calvo Field House.

Also affected are two high school football games. Luckily, the league managed to squeeze in a game Thursday night where the GW Geckos beat the Southern Dolphins 27-0.

Stay tuned to GSPN for the latest in the new schedules for the respective sports.

Still ongoing Friday is the Guam National Bodybuilding Championships.
