Love 4 Pets: Queenie, Brando, Guero

These three babies are up for adoption right here in New Mexico.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — This Love 4 Pets features adoptable pets from across New Mexico – Queenie, Brando and Guero.

First, we have Queenie from Albuquerque’s Eastside Animal Shelter. Look at that little face. She’s an 8-year-old brown Australian cattle dog mix. She loves going on quiet strolls, whether she’s casually sniffing around or happily carrying her favorite squeaky toy along for a walk.

Queenie is a love bug who leans in for pets and soft, gentle attention. She awaits you at Albuquerque’s Eastside Shelter.

We’ve got Brando, a 2-year-old Brindle American Pit Bull Terrier mix. His whole body wiggles with happiness when he gets attention and he is generous with his big licks and kisses.

Brando loves walking nicely on a leash, so he is ready to join you for neighborhood adventures. Brando is waiting at the Westside Animal Shelter in Albuquerque.

Now we go to Ruidoso to meet a fella who is equal parts gentlemen, comedian and snuggle buddy – Guero! He is 5 years old and 55 pounds. A pit mix, he’s also the mascot for the Lincoln County Humane Society’s spooky season pet costume contest. He brings warmth laughter and movie star charm wherever he goes.
