Macarthur Square in Sydney’s southwest expands retail mix

Macarthur Square is expanding its retail offer in southwest Sydney, with eight new stores now open, seven existing retailers completing refurbishments or relocations, and another 12 retailers scheduled to arrive by mid-December.
The investment strengthens the centre’s appeal to shoppers while creating opportunities for retailers across fashion, beauty, food and beverage, health, services and everyday essentials to reach the region’s growing population.
New arrivals include Bath & Body Works, The Brew Yard, W Brew, Taka Sushi, Brooklyn Donuts, Phone Hotspot, Endota Spa and Melia Nae, broadening the centre’s mix of beauty, dining and specialty retail offerings.
Existing tenants are also investing in their businesses, with Woolworths, Rockwear, Priceline Pharmacy, True Nails, Connor, Westpac/St George and yd. completing refurbishments or moving into new spaces.
Macarthur Square centre manager Jacqui Bell said the combination of new retailers and upgraded stores was bringing fresh energy to the shopping destination.
“Macarthur Square is experiencing a really exciting period of change, with new retailers complementing existing retailers upgrading their stores to bring new energy and a contemporary mix of tenants to the area,” Bell said.
A further wave of openings is planned in the coming months, with Service NSW, MINISO, Sushi Naya, L’Mour Beauty Day Spa, Lion’s Den, Luneburger, Enhance Hearing, Black Pepper, Milk Flower and Baked among the businesses expected to join the centre by mid-December.
The incoming retailers will extend the centre’s offer across several categories, combining specialist retail and hospitality with services and products catering to customers’ everyday needs.
Further investment in existing stores is also planned, with Big W, Styleyes and Skin Kandy scheduled to undergo refurbishments or relocations.
Bell said retailers were recognising the opportunity presented by the centre’s location and the expanding population in its catchment.
“We’ve got plenty more to look forward to, with retail brands recognising the opportunity to be a part of a Centre with a rapidly expanding population on its doorstep,” she said.
“It’s a positive time for Macarthur Square, and we’re excited to see these changes come to life over the coming months.”
The latest leasing and refurbishment activity reflects Macarthur Square’s continuing evolution as a major shopping destination in Campbelltown, with its expanding retail mix aimed at meeting the changing needs of local shoppers while attracting additional brands to southwest Sydney.
