Fadiel Adams back in court on fraud charges
National Coloured Congress (NCC) leader Fadiel Adams is expected to appear in the Pinetown Regional Court for a pre-trial conference.
Adams has appeared in the Magistrate’s Court on charges of fraud and defeating the ends of justice, relating to alleged visits to detainees at Durban’s Westville Prison whose cases were before the courts.
Both detainees have since been convicted.
Adams was arrested in May and later granted R10 000 bail.
