DEAR DEIDRE: LATELY, sex has become frustrating because I finish so fast. I am starting to wonder if there’s any point to it.

I am 32 and my wife is 31. We have been together for five years and have a little girl who is three and a son who has just turned one.

Life is exhausting, but this specific issue only cropped up after the birth of our youngest.

I am scared it is going to drive a wedge between us and ruin our relationship if it continues.

I have seriously thought of asking my GP about getting circumcised .

It might help sort out these physical and psychological difficulties once and for all.

DEIDRE SAYS: Don’t panic.

You might not actually need a circumcision, as gentle stretching exercises can often help resolve foreskin tightness, especially when performed in the bath or shower.

Instead of rushing into having surgery, contact 15 Square (15square.org.uk) which gives information and advice to men about circumcision issues.

Most importantly, you need to stop putting so much pressure on yourself to perform.
