Andile Mpisane Addresses Deadbeat Father Allegations. When many thought the fight between Andile Mpisane and Sithelo Shozi has long been resolved, there has been new developments. It all started when Sithelo insinuated that her baby daddy was not helping with the maintenance of their two daughters.

The TV personality, musician and entrepreneur commented on a TikTok video discussing the difficulties some mothers experience when seeking financial support from their children’s fathers. Sithelo shared that for her it has been 6 years and counting. This had many social media users that she was referring to Andile. Even Andile himself feels the comments referred to him, hence he released a statement.

When asked about whether her daughters had lived at the paternal family mansion, Sithelo responded that they had never lived there. This shocked a lot of people, more so since they though that the exes’ firstborn stayed with the grandmother.

Andile Responds to Sithelo’s Comments

The reality show star, football player,musician and businessman has issued a statement addressing the discussion surrounding his role as a father. According to Andile, he stills takes care of his daughters, in every way possible. He stated that he had continued contributing towards his children’s education, including paying their school fees. He also emphasized that their well-being and future remained important to him. Andile also let it out that his access to his children had been limited and that he had only recently had an opportunity to reconnect with them.

Andile also said he had chosen to keep family matters private to protect his children from public disputes. He stressed that his silence should not be interpreted as a lack of love, responsibility or commitment.

Sithelo Shozi Responds to Andile’s Statement

Following Andile’s public response, Sithelo replied in isiZulu: “iStatement emuva, isondlo phambili.” The phrase translates roughly to “Statements can wait, child maintenance comes first.” Her response shifted the discussion back to the question of financial support for children, highlighting the difference between public statements about parental commitment and the practical responsibilities involved in raising a child.
